What does Lavolio mean?

The name Lavolio is a made-up word that mixes the founder’s name ‘Lavinia’ and surname ‘Davolio’ and also roughly translates from her mother tongue, Italian, as ‘I want it’. We thought it fitting for our delicious Italian Confectionery.

How many sweets are in each tin?

The quantity of Lavolio sweets inside each tin is based on weight:

  • Medium tins (10.2cm x 10.2cm x 5cm) contain: 175g which amounts to approx 30-45 sweets of different sizes in variable proportion
  • Miniature tins (6cm x 6cm x 5cm) contain: 60g which amounts to approx 10-15 sweets of different sizes in variable proportion
  • Maxi tins (21cm x 21cm x 5cm) contain: 250g which amounts to approx 50-75 sweets of different sizes in variable proportion
What is inside the tin?

Each Lavolio tin is hand packed to contains a mix of different flavours and textures, depending on each collection: an assortment of real pieces of fruit or whole nuts, coated in chocolate or mixed with spices and then covered with a thin sugar shell.
Each box is different because of the process that we use for packing: all the different flavours are mixed in bulk, and then weighted into the single tins. Because of this, we describe on the ingredients label that the sweets contained are in variable proportions.

Allergy Cautions?

Lavolio confectionery is gluten-free but contains nuts, soya and dairy. Please always check allergy cautions on the product information. Lavolio Soft Nougat also contains eggs. Please note that every flavour may contain traces of other nuts and peanuts.

Can I add a Gift Message to my order?

Yes! Please write your note at checkout, in the order notes, and we will be happy to include a personalised gift card. You may also add a complimentary gift wrap – to do this, just select the “add a gift wrap” item to your basket.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to change or cancel orders once they’ve been processed. However, if you’ve made a mistake (e.g. with the delivery address or flavours ordered), the best thing to do is to get in touch as soon as possible via our contact page here and we’ll do our best to help.

How Do I Track My Order?

If you have created an account with us, you may log in to your account and check on the status of your order. Alternatively, you may contact us for more information.

How long does delivery take when ordering from lavolio.com?

Each order is sent as soon as we can, often on the same day, by first class postage and it should take between 1 and 2 days to arrive to you if you are in the UK. You can read more about our delivery policy here. Please note that currently we do not post over the weekend so if you placed an order after 14.00 on a Friday you will normally receive your order the following Tuesday.

Do you offer a discount for large orders?

Please get in touch with us to enquire about discounts for bulk or larger orders and will be happy to discuss this with you.

How long do the products last for?

We endeavour to deliver Lavolio to you with a minimum of 3 months best before date.

Once opened, how long will my Lavolio last?

If you don’t finish a box in one sitting, please close the tin tightly and consume by the best before date (we aim for a minimum of 3 months shelf life for our products). Please keep them in cool and dry place and away from sunlight.

Which Lavolio product is the best seller?

Our most popular line is the Nutty Forest collection which is a favourite for gifting.

Do you cater for Events?

Yes, we do. We not only cater for weddings, but also anniversaries, dinner parties or any special occasion where you want to treat your friends/guests. Lavolio bespoke tins are made-to-order and can be personalised to suit the occasion, and we can provide your event with a luxury candy bar.
